Rekan-rekan yang baik,
Hingga hari terakhir pendaftaran kompetisi blog periode pertama (30 April 2008) kami menerima 55 blogger yang mendaftar, namun sayang dari ke-55 blogger tersebut hanya 19 blogger yang benar-benar membuat entri tentang ICD.
Data ke-19 blogger tersebut kami dapat dari balasan email yang menyertakan link ke masing-masing postingan (entri), mohon lihat kembali entri kami terdahulu mengenai hal ini. Jadi memang hanya mereka yang membalas email kami dengan link tersebut-lah yang kami pertimbangkan untuk dinilai.

Big thanks to all of you who have participated in the period one of this blog competition. All of your entries are now being reviewed by juries; and we will announce the winners through this blog at 26 May 2008.
Here, we announce that the second period of this blog competition is opened with the theme: Knowledge Economy (KE).
Bloggers who participate in this competition should post entries which related to the KE theme, those could be articles, comments on BC programmes, photos, or anything else. Don’t forget to add a specific tag ‘BC blog competition - KE’ to your entries.
Registration for this blog competition period two is open from 13 May to 8 June 2008; and the competition itself will be running from 13 May to 15 June 2008. Please click here to register.

Dear Friends,
Please read below terms and conditions of the blogging competition.
- this competition is open for all Indonesian Bloggers who reside in Indonesia or outside the country
- only those who are 18 years and above can join this competition
- the competition is divided into three different period. The first period (6 April – 6 May 2008) fits the theme of Intercultural Dialogue; the second period (6 May – 6 June 2008) will cover the theme of Creative Economy; and the third period (6 June – 15 July 2008) will cover the issue of Climate Security
- participants may join one period only, but it is suggested to join the whole period
- participants who have joined the first period and are willing to join the next period should re-register their blogs through this page
- only participants who join the whole period have the opportunity to win the grand prize (one laptop)
- winners of each period will be announced two weeks after the closing date at the latest; winner of grand prize will be announced in August 2008.
- postings can be written both in English and in Bahasa Indonesia
- one participant should only register one blog for this competition
- this competition is a serious-but-fun competition, so we don’t encourage you to use ‘slang’ words in your postings.
- the postings will be judged based on originality, clarity of message, and creativity
- plagiarism is strictly prohibited
- the decision of the judges is final
- if there are quotations in your postings, do not forget to also mention sources where the quotations are taken from
- no correspondence will be allowed or will be entered into before, during, and after the competition

Some of you must have known that for the first period of the Blogging Competition we raise the issue on ICD (intercultural dialogue).
ICD is one of British Council’s three main work focuses beside Knowledge Economy and Climate Security.
